The room was a decent size, and it came with handy amenities like an electric kettle, a microwave, and air conditioning. ☕.

The staff was nice and understanding when we had questions. We had a fairly good bedroom. The vibe here was friendly.

The venue was great, I liked the stay and the location was perfect just next door to the Arkana Motel, so many fast food outlets and Queensland. The atmosphere created was comfortable. The room I booked was cheap and spotless, complete with tea and shower. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator were available too.

Review for Arkana Motel in Maryborough
I had a comfortable overall experience at the Arkana Motel. the place is fairly clean and offers lovely garden views, making it a pleasant environment. the staff were excellent and attentive, enhancing my stay. the food selection was fabulous, providing plenty of options to choose from. the location is unbeatable, situated right next to three parks, shops, restaurants, and in the heart of town. It’s also conveniently close to the HPV Event, making it an ideal choice for visitors.

Found booking quick and easy, reception was friendly. Complimentry drink was a welcome surprise after driving for almost 600 km and 9 hours of road works from Rockhampton.

Not much at all actually I was bitterly disappointed. The bed was very comfortable and that is about it!
I was given the keys to our room only to walk in and find that the previous person/s was sill in the room, there were towels etc.. everywhere their key was on the bench and I quickly closed to door again and went back to the reception office. The manager? Came and checked the room and gave me keys to another room? Which was located next door, I'm glad that no one saw me go in there it was very embarrassing indeed, those ppl could have been showering, anything really, not very good. For the price the bathrooms were so tiny you could hardly move, you couldn't move around the main room as the beda nd the table took up most of the space available, so hence for the price I believe it was over priced for the amenities. I'm sorry to complain, but we stay in many motels/resorts etc and this was probably the worst.

We stayed in Maryborough on a business trip. The Motel is well located. Staff great. Motel looks great, and close to fantastic meals. Once inside, it is obvious that the building is not new, and is probably up for a bit of renovation (bathroom) especially before too long, I would certainly stay there again. When you wiegh up the age of the facilities with the price, you can not complain. Bonus for us was being able to park off street with a taller than usual vehicle. Beautiful surrounds also.

The Kingsize bed was very nice. with a good night sleep assured. External noise was non existent. House staff were very friendly.
Excessive mold in the bathroom which is a health issue. Chairs were tattered. Not one draw in the room. Found management not very friendly or welcoming. Would not stay there again unless I had no choice. it's the friendly service that makes you overlook the flaws of the unit. I did take photo's but not of the worst section behind the bathroom door.
